Hi, I'm Susan Maslanka England and this creative journey started when I was 8 years old, baking a cake shaped like a castle. It was beautiful, my mom said so. I've always loved making things, spray painting shells I found, sewing, etc. So after a little bit of college, I decided I wanted to own my own clothing boutique.  I went to Barbizon Fashion Merchandisinc School in Dallas Texas. From which I graduated as the top student and found a job working for a jewelry designer. I was priviledged to work at the Dallas Market, meeting designers, seeing all the new fashion and purchasing. With a little jewelry knowledge, I began making my own belts, bracelets, earrings and custom design sweatshirts that I sold at the Dallas City Market on the weekends. Then about 25 years later I was getting married on a beach in Jamaica and I needed some kind of “shoe” and found barefoot jewelry. Set on having sparkly feet, I made my first pair. From there the barefoot sandal design evolved into a more durable and affordable piece and not only for weddings but for a fun beach or pool side look. This evolved into matching earrings, bracelets and decided to expanded the product line to include necklaces, boot jewels and much more.
